Built by Ice Marine for the adventurer Neil McGrigor with 2,000 HP, after an initial aborted attempt, they hit something damaging one drive train, they eventually broke the RB record at times travelling at 80mph plus.

The boat then went up for sale and the Iranians purchased it via a South African and "splashed" it. They now have several fitted out as fast attack craft which the Americans are terrified of as they could easily Blitz a Destroyer when attacking in numbers - which of course is their intention!!

Don't anyone tell you that racing and record breaking doesn't improve the breed, thanks to people like Neil and British design.

Blade runner

Not sure but, well yes I am, I think your find that the record boat was refitted by Osmotech, at Hamble Point Marina, for a private customer as a fast tender for a super yacht.Might be wrong, but I did work on this boat during the refit so prob not!!
