It is pretty good. The staggered motor layout, huge bow tank, and substantial trim tabs mean you can get it to run pretty much how you want in most conditions. Big following seas are the only time it's a challenge, but even then, no more than most other designs as the recovery in the bows is quite strong.

CTC - photos / vids - Pippa

We did not trouble fellow competitors for very long but has anyone got any clips of Pippa off the start and at 2 Buoys? Dredgy got us a cracking start and we were third around 2 Buoys after Vee and Tony and with Markus breathing down our neck. All felt very good. And of course the cushe drive then went on the port box 10 mins later. Both doughnuts were renewed as a precaution last year but clearly they were still not grunty enough. Back to the crash boxes.

Many thanks. We were a bit bow down with the bow tank full. Got a bit of air later! Not that there was much of the 'later'! Much appreciated.

Can't remember exactly (its part of the boat, so not simple to calculate) but about 35 imp galls I think. so circa 160kg.

Video clip of the P1 superstocks that greatly supported the Cowes 2012 event.

Myself and Sam would like to send our condolences to Mike Lovell's Family and Friends.
