Ring 16 Engine height and offset

Hi I've just bought a ring 16 with a Yamaha v4 115 sat on a pro lift manual Jack plate. What would be the recommend set up for this. At the moment the boat isn't handling very well at all. This is due to the current set up I believe.
The jack plate sit 6" off from the back of the boat and the cavitation plate is roughly 4" above the bottom of the boat and an offset of about 2" to starboard any advice to get the perfect set up would be much appreciated.
There is also a bow tank up the front.
Many Thanks

Which model Ring 16 ?

Sell jack plate and mount engine with cav plate central 3"-4" above Keel !!

If its a 16c it will need a bow fuel tank and 22" Laser.

I just had a look at serial no of boat at it says 16c at the beginning of it.
Whats the difference between a 16 and a 16 c?
It has a 60ltr plastic bow tank.
With the engine mounted directly to the transom in the centre but still with the 3-4" lift improve cavitation?
Cheers Sam

Is that a bow fuel tank ?
There were 16a, b, c and D models all a bit different. I have run all except the "A"
What are you using it for ?

Yes its a bow fuel tank.
Im wanting to use it for a bit of skiing and bit of messing around. But still want to be able to open the throttle up for it to go well and handle well
