Hi there

If you cant find one, I've had success in the past by re-bonding them.
There are some really top notch resins out there.
You just have to make sure that the items are spotlessly clean.

Cheers Boatmonkey but another forum member got in touch straight away and I'm sorted.
Any suggestions how to remove the existing magnets without breaking them as spares in case it happens again?
Seems to be a common issue! Bit of a bugger running around at 4200 rpm instead of 5500 on holiday, my wife accused me of eating too many pies when I struggled out on the skis

As is often the case, when you do want them to come off, they don't.
Really quite difficult to remove them as they are quite brittle.

Managed to remove the remaining four magnets intact by applying gentle heat with a calor gas torch to the outside of the flywheel then tapping the end of the magnets with a piece of wood/hammer !!
I just hope I never need them now and they can gather dust in one of my sheds!

Less than a week after posting the thread I have a replacement thanks to this site. Thanks Boatmad.com and the excellent forum member who supplied it.
