200hp optimax fault HELP!!!

I've got a 2000 optimax 200hp 3.0l and it's coming up with a sensor fault and throttle fault on the smartcraft gauge. I've fitted a new throttle sensor and cleared all the faults with the DDT but as soon ran it up again I had the same fault. The fault on the DDT read TPI1 low. Can anyone help me and point me in the right direction. Thanks

Check voltage on the TPS at idle it should read high. Between 4 and 5 volts. If it sees it low at startup it will warn you. Make sure the throttle cable is adjusted properly and returns to the idle stop. If that checks out check wiring wiggle test.

The fact that it says TPI 1 suggests you might have 2?? Early opti's do from what I read. if it has, can you swap-em to see if it shifts.
