I'm selling my Mercury 2.5 260 Hp. This engine has 20" midsection and 1.87 gear box. The lower unit is CLE but it has low water pickups.

I attach pic of this engine.

Send me pm if you are interested.

Considering the price they can be bought for in this country and the amount it would cost in shipping etc it is very costly.

Yoplay,
I'd agree with Mr Rob on pricing, they have a higher net value in Spain for sure.
For the UK you would be needing to look at about a 25% price reduction to sell it, possible Scandanavian Market though higher values there.

Nowt wrong on posting it here it's a well read forum from all over, not just the UK.
Local markets vary a great deal. I weep every time I go on Scream & Fly but but the time you get it with all the add ons.....

Think we should all lobby our govenments to remove duty for all powerboats, engines & Parts..................Up the revolution power to the Powerboater

What we need is a friendly US based boatmad member that's willing to source the parts and export them direct to the UK - maybe even just 3 or 4 times a year in bulk.

Anyone willing???

You can keep the change and treat ya' self to a little sumfing.
