22 years on.........

1986...A life before Boatmad!

Where did all those years go?!!!!!!!

Used to be into Lotus's. Track days, or ...road days. the road days were more fun.

http://media.boatmad.com/Videos/lotus.wmv

And playing around with Karts Barlotti/Bultaco 250 (red & white helmet)..

still got the Kart! Sadly the hair & slim physique have long since departed.

http://media.boatmad.com/Videos/karting.wmv

And from 1985, an August days boating in the pool of London, check out the barnet!! ...What was I thinking! My excuse? I was only 23, how could I possibly know I looked so daft.

Now I've laid myself open in this way, someone else must have some incriminating images of themselves in a previous life?? Especially Chaos!

Blackbushe Karting, Great video there Jon!
I to have alot of great memory up at Blackbushe 22 years ago and more.

They were just about finishing the Car Auctions up there at that time too! never thought I'd spend my days up at the auctions each week for the last 22 years. the ground has changed so much now. Thou the Kart Track is alot straighter and as very good asphalt

Most weekends agroup of us would all come up from Eversley with either our trials bikes or motorcrosser and wind up arnold that owned the site! he used chase us around in his rolls royce! why he thought he could catch us who knows.

My bro and I competed in Trails and so we both used to go up there on our Fantic 200's to have a round about or to do some pratice trainning on the weekends we didnt compete. We ended up having to get motorcross bike because we were maintaining the trails bikes to much, a couple of friends used to take bultaco's, both 250's up there too.

The AWDC used to get up there too! to do safari racing, to guys called Alvin smith and Pat wills with the're range rovers and the Stange rover that was a TR7 on the range rover chassis used to win everything in them.

I'm always happy to humiliate myself:

1. 29 years ago - In a sleek offshore powerboat

2. 22 years ago - The height of nautical fashion

3. 19 years ago - Still dopey looking in Shepperton
