Everyone was horrifed when XH558 surprisingly entered the 1980 Cowes Round the Island race.

Cries of foul and illegality faded however when it was disqualified for missing all the race marks. The crew obviously forgot to always keep the land on the port side.

I think Peter Berrow thought we had a motor out of one of them in 'Team Extreme' after we did (almost) 80 on Windermere! he told laods of people we had a 650hp factory motor from Sowester

Then, when JP's Revenger 29 rib ran 86 with a pair of 150's, he believed it (they were bent, probably 280's)


As they say, ...From one extreme to another!
