Anyone ever try snowmobiling?

I have. I tried it out recently and it's freakin' awesome. I'm trying to win one of those free snowmobiles that http://www.outdoorchannel.com. is giving away cuz I rented the gear and I'm pretty much strapped for cash. Yea, being a professional gas station attendant doesn't cover much expenses so I'm looking forward to winning. For now, I need to find someone to let me borrow their jet skis until I win...at least I hope that I win.

I've done a bit at a couple of Ski resorts in France. Bloody cold coz you could only do it in the evening after the slopes had closed. Great fun though!

Was that in Tigne / Val D'isere by any chance? They have some good looking snowmobile tracks on the back of the slopes

I used to work as a ski guide in Val D'Isere - we used to have a trip at the end of the season for the "works outing" followed by a lot of alchohol! They are great fun, and was going to have a go last week in Courcheval, but didn't get round to it - ah well next year?

by the way thanks for the tip on the restaurant in Morzine Tony - best steak I've had in years and cooked by the Mayor no less!
