0.01% is 100ppm therefore 0.27% is 2700ppm
Is the maths, spelling and grammar correct?

That's what I thought it would be, however, does it make any difference when applying it to per Mile/KM?

Nope - that would be the phenomenon of the greengrocer's apostrophe. So called because on the board outside the shop anything that ended with an "s" automatically had an apostrophe - apple's, pear's etc. However, pointing this out shows how sad you become when you have put 2 kids through the transfer test.

This is going to get very sad now... the word mathematics is abbreviated to maths in many English speaking countries but it is actually a singular noun so the true abbreviation is math. So we're both wrong and the Yanks are right. Damn .

The figure is a measure of the amount of CO2 in a given volume. It's independent of the distance over which the engine is running. Otherwise they would have a very long pipe at the MOT centre.
