Duck tape use in USA

Now I know why USA boaters carry duck tape, not sure if we had these floating around our boating areas I would be so keen to just bang a bit of duck tape on it, for if you mess up it could give you a nasty nip on ye big toe

apparently a half decent elastic band can keep their mouths shut, the muscles in their jaws are extremely strong when closing and biting, but very weak when opening the mouth.. but like you saw i think i'd rather carry more than a rubber band and a roll of duck tape!!
