Fuel Blockade

I've just had a mate warn that there is a high chance of a fuel blockade starting this coming weekend, and that it could be equal to or bigger than the one of September 2000.

I think the best way is for ALL to stop buying from BP/Esso/Shell and opnly go to supermarkets... break the big companies and force them to drop their prices and everyone else will follow.
I paid 135 yesterday for diesel

Send a message via Skype™ to ciao!
I have had a fear that this was coming, not because I disagree with the "action" - but because it could kill the RB08.

Same place mate, I worked for best part of 15 years in the petro chemical side of things over in Haverfordwest and to my knowledge all the fuel comes from the same refineries, it always seemed strange that on my way back to Devon the most exspenive fuel station was within 2miles of the Elf refinery!
Down in deepest Plymouth the supermarkets are pretty much the same price at Texaco etc etc. I hope the blockaid goes ahead and finally cripples this bunch of jokers as I am sick to death of this goverment and its taxes and all the bloody do gooders that seem to have the loudest voice! I'll stop there as I feel a rant coming on!

Yeah thats what I thought. Avoiding the the BP/Esso/Shell stations etc. wont really make any difference to the oil companies as we will still be buying their fuel just from different outlets.

Car share and get on your bike, Thats what I've done. I used to fill up every week and a half at a cost of about £65 (at todays prices), now I fill up every 5 to 6 weeks.
