I think my 3rd bottle of wine had just kicked in! By the end of the night I think the waves were 50 foot high and we were doing 100 knots!

Really hope you do the basic Cancer Research in June it should be a walk in the park after 70Knts to the needles in 25' seas wine or no wine and anyhow it will certainly make impressive viewing between the piers as we can't count any more on Honeyparty for that

I am sharing an engineer with Drew, so if his boat is going well we can get mine prepped up for the race. We have emptied the water out of the fuel tank which we picked up in Cowes last August, and the engines have been flushed through. We are fitting a new sea-strainer and two new big water separators. Everything else is fine. Saw team 25 XS2000 going down Southampton Water today going very well!

Sounds like a good idea hopefully he will get both your boats running fast and reliably as the CR charity race is only one month off now and as I say it would be great to see it blasting down the sea front between the piers

I hope Drew manages to extract that extra bit of performance needed to get them in the P1 points, guess all will become apparent over the next few days for them in Malta
