Seems to be a good package but I fear the running cost may slightly out weigh the initial purchase cost. So I think I'll give it a miss this time. If I didnt have my boats though..................

I dunno, runs on 22p/litre or summat like that fuel.
Would probably be cheaper to run than my boat.

ha ha , tested my xr2 today, seems reliable enough not as fast out the hole though and slower on top end,going to bore it out to 2.4 and fit mad efi and mad intake after barrow national.

no, im not going to touch the porting and im having egt's fitted to keep an eye on temp, plus you can set mad efi to run rich if temp starts to rise .

Current pump price for fuel on the sucker is $1.25 a UK gall

Which aint to bad.
But if you take the JT8 I've still got sitting here thats 12500 lbs thrust 18,000 with after burner but the bfuel burn goes through the roof. WIthout the burner it 3454 lts/hr wont ever moan about the outboard again
