Its safe to use at least as much as you need to use and probably about 39.5" less than what i originally said due to a shortage of matt in china.........

(1) According to trio, 5 metric tonnes per linear foot of boat (as long as the boat is not more than 3 feet wide)

(2) And ...no!

but outside southampton, it's all very different.
