Roast Chicken Tonight.....

I am about to have a very fresh roast chicken - in about 20 minutes...

One of the new cocks attacked my little princess Cleo and learned the hard way that you do not bully my favourite chicken. Cleo was the first of my new hybred chicks, I incubated her at home, hand raised her in the house. She is special because she lays twice a day, which is completely unusual for a free range chicken.

So one new cock is plucked, gutted and in the oven, and Cleo has oats and bran porrige to chear her up.
