dont worry not to compete with this one
just wanted to set up a simple forum site, but with a .co.uk web adress
but any free or cheap forum site ends up with something like, .myforums.co.uk at the end
didnt know if you could create one, then re host it through a domain site that i get the .co.uk adress off, if that makes scense
im just new to the whole forum and hosting thing
and any help would be massively apreciated

just take out a basic hosting package that allows you to create a mysql database, just upload the files and adjust the forum configuration files to suit you database details and away you go.

try dataflame UK on a simple windows package you can install phpbb forum with just the click of a few buttons from within the Plesk Hosting admin control panel

I use them and they have scripts for setting up most systems online. And at £3.95 per month, I think it's quite cheap!

I would use one.com for hosting and .co.uk costs £10.70 for one year.

For the forum I would use PHPBB http://www.phpbb.com/ which is free and pretty simple to set up.
