Soton has a new Queen

it appears something rather large crept into Southampton water today ... not an ole queen but a brand spanking new one all £365 million pounds of her ... all hail the new Queen Elizabeth

Arriving Southampton today

And it's beaten Cookee's new boat to Southampton waterway and from this angle it looks a touch bigger an all

Watched her sneek in to Southampton water through the fog this morning. I really love to sit in my garden and watch these monsters arrive and depart Southampton. Maybe a bit big and impersonal for my liking but it makes me feel good to see them use Southampton.

Totally agree after watching on the southern news last night it is just a tower block, the front end didn't look much but its ass end was just so short of any imagination not remotely as nice or aesthetic as the earlier ships

Yeah Captain and Officers first, the rest will be so pissed up and weighed down by over indulgence that under Health & Safety they would likely pose a danger to the crew in any attempt to save them from themselves. If that makes sense!!!

Hear here. Take away the black hull & red funnel & she looks like any other bloody awful cruise ship. And to think that people said the QE2 didn't look good compared to the original QE. QE2's hull had lovely lines.
