Sorry Jon but I am really struggling to make sense of that.

As you no doubt know, an ellipsis should be constructed utilising three evenly spaced dots, preceded and followed by a space, unless of course at the end of a sentence where it will display as four due to the fullstop, but of course with an extra space between the two differing punctuations.

Really the standards here are quite appaling.

Yours above has just had me cleaning the screen looking for dust spots followed by a screen test to ensure no missing pixels exist. Before you edit!
