Stupid banks

My turn for a rant!

Had the business card declined yesterday - rang the bank as it shouldn't have been - it seems I was on the credit limit, so I said that's OK I'll pay it off - Oh you can't do that sir! It wouldn't have been so bad but she sounded like she was about 12 ...........

Anyway it seems my "agreement" prevents me from paying my card off until the end of the month when it's done automatically from the current account, so I can't use that card (the only business one I have) for 10 days!

What the hell do they expect me to do?

Of course I have a "Business Manager" but he/she was too busy to call me back - I think this calls for a personal visit - that usually sorts things like this out!

Sounds like HSBC to me! They returned a business cheque of mine the other day because they thought it was fraud, I'd bought £1300 of paving slabs (i'm registered as property maintenance!)

Best bit is... When i went to explain myself and pay it off with the card, the little machine told them to call someone, where they promptly told her to keep the card and call the police, as I had obviously stolen the card!!

Took 3 15 minute phone calls to sort it all out and just got a 'sorry for the inconvenience' from the fraud team bird who couldn't even speak my language, let alone pronounce my name, who then advised me to avoid fraud by not discussing my account with people who sound foriegn!!!!!
