I've got one of these - http://www.ajhobby.com/product.asp?pid=727 a delta winged flying boat. (removable undercarriage) Someone else had built it and the fkkr leaked when I flew it off water. Was well cool though, would like to get it flying again one day.

I have seen those outboard motors that rock! Expensive though - how fast did it run? .45

Is the exhaust part of the leg?

attached a picture if you look just by the water pick up pipe at the back theres 4 holes , thats the exhaust! its SO loud
ive only used it once and it took of REAL quick then the throttle shaft came off so i couldent use it and its too cold so havnt got round to usint it again yet.
the 3.5 cc (.21) engine outboard boats do about 45-50 mph this is the bigger 7.5 cc (.45) so i would think about 60-70

Yep, first pic is of my 950R that I bought on ebay. Its like new except for a few scratches on the underside of the chassis which you'd get the first time you use it anyway. Its ace it came with loads of mods and has titanium screws, carbon fibre upperdeck, kevlar belts and you can adjust the suspension in ways you cant even think of, roll centers, what that all about then . OS Max 21 engine is brand new, ebay again £125 to my door from hongkong they're £260 over here. 3.5cc, 2.5hp and 42,000rpm.

The second photo is an older Serpent that I've had for years and years. That one has a Rex(Novarossi) motor with about 2.2hp

Both have 2 speed gearboxes and hit 60 in under 2 seconds. The 950R should do 80mph+

Cool, mines got over 1000bhp per ton as all up its about 2.4kg

Its came with quite a few upgrades lots of aluminium bits that are platic in the standard kit and lots of light weight transmission bits too.

Serpents are really well built, but you pay for it. My kit with all its upgrade bits would be about £600. Thats with no engine, pipe, radio gear or even a body shell. I didn't pay that of course cause I got it of ebay

Havent driven it yet as its not finished.
