Blown V10?

625 hp for 800lbs? Does not sound spectacular for an 8 liter, or am I wrong?

I thought you could get 650 out of a 5.8l trick V6 small block at less weight?

Don't think it's supercharged.

What Ilmore seems to be offering is reliable horspower. Sure, you can get 650hp out of a mouse motor but the rebuilds would be pretty frequent.

As tricky said, it does not sound fantastic but for a boat engine longevity and reliability must be highest on the agenda, think I read someware the racing small block may have a limit around 125hp per LTR limit normally asperated with no intake restrictions, think for a good boat engine a stong ballance between hp and torque would be required
