Will the removal of nearly 500KG of bits have brought the weight closer to the 2150KG ( I believe that was the racing weight for 6ltr or the weight at least ICE claimed for their Tri )of the racing version that ran in 6ltr years back and did 90mph+ if so guess you may need to re prop and set up to find the extra performance from 70's too 80's

I wish...

More like the removal of 500kg will take it closer to the 3 ton mark!

The ice boat did 101 at Windermere with 2x250's

Mr Nick has loaned me a set of 26's to test the boat with on Thursday. We'll try two runs, one with the existing 28's which were 700 rpm off the mark in the last test and then with the 26's to see if they get closer to the magic 82mph needed to ensure the boat survives...

Anything short of 80mph and there is gonna be a huge bonfire night at my farm - all invited. Guest of the moment will be the bladerunner with Jeremy at the controls.

The wheat will be in giving an empty 16 acre plot to burn the bloody thing in!

The RS6 Bladerunner

It sounds to me that you should have bought the RS6 Bladerunner - that still runs at 100mph when required, also extreamly stable, reliable (good electrics etc.) and forgiving.

Yes, I believe that one has only 'been over' 2 or 3 times. (you are talking about the white & blue one right?)

Yep, she's been over twice, once on her first race outing and once when a novice driver tried to make a tight turn at 80mph with five paying passengers and he took his his foot off the gas.

I wish it had been 25k!!!

The boat is now back to its former glory with all the extra seats etc. etc. removed and the original roof cowls, race seats etc been refitted.

Still holds the british record for 6 litre offshore @ 101mph

Barrel rolling the boat, stupid!

maybe an experienced commercialy licenced skipper, not used to fast unstable boats.

A dealer in the States has had one over as well, with a pair of Verado's.
