Not in my 28, no. The logistics of getting it in the water there are too much of a fag. and a 500 mile round trip by water is a bit much.

If our RB08 entry boat is running by then, maybe we'd run round from the south coast as a bit of a run and take part.

What you should do Mr Tricky is write to Clarkson telling him that he cant do 75 in that boat and then offer him a ride in your V24, a proper racing boat!
No Clarksons done that already in a V24 with a proper racer - Steve Curtis

I can find no referance of Steve Curtis or Clarkson in a V24.

Can you provide some referance?

I think it was in Top Gear Waterworld. It wasn't Clarkson but Tiff Nedell out there with Curtis.

...Tiff and Curtis.
Speeds exceeded 70mph!

So much for the Curtis factor then.......
Although it was the older design, with windscreen wipers on the windows!!

This is the actual boat used.

JC did ride in a offshore P1 boat - Ibelieve it was Spirit of Norway with the Lambo engines, it had Curtis at the throttles and JC wes steering it..

It was on "extreme machines" from 98 - I think..

That is correct. And his comment was something like 'look at those wonderful cliff views, wait 5 minutes and you can see them again, and again, and again...'

So does anyone know exactly how fast the clarksson cougar actually goes and what size the boat is. I would be suprised if it passes 60mph, it only had a 225 on it.
