If i only had read these posts i would never ever have sent my money as payment for racing with Scott Rutherford, recently i agreed with him to join the upcoming OPA race at Sunny Island Beach Miami and we made an contract about that. He start an argue and canceled me from racing and refuses to pay my money back, even though the contract says that if he canceles the race, full amount of payment must be returned. I feel sorry for Gino as he also probably belived as i also did that we would race, but this shamles scammer stole our money!!!
I wonder if the organisers OPA and SBI know how this one man team treats people.

Scammed by US raceteam!

An open letter to all organizers and raceteams, there is one small team in US that contracts European and Domestic drivers and after done payment starts conflicts and breaches contracts just to cancel the racing and keep the money, and then still races with other paying drivers!
We are a few racers that dreamed of racing in those great events of OPA and SBI and also the believing that the offshorepowerboatracing still is a gentlemansport, where trust and honour are keywords just like many other mainly self sponsored motorsports.
But now there is a one person team around that took advantage in that and contracted drivers for racing and then surprisingly finds angles to start arguing, just to get “reasons” to keep the paid money as a profit, and stopping our efforts to race in the USA.
That’s the lowest possible way of fraud, becuse this person presentents a fraudulent package in the name of such serious raceorganisers as OPA and SBI, takes advantage of the fine reputation of those organisations to convince people to join his team and send money for registration fees etc even on top of the agreed and paid for ones, just to give one example of his antics...
All of this above is not to be connected or blaimed with serious raceteams and people around.
We want this to be known and him stopped so others don’t get robbed from their dreams and money.
For all other serious raceteams out there feel free to contact us because We still have interest and dreams in racing in Worlds greatest events!
Note that We are open to discussion, are bringing our own sponsors and funds onboard for a serious raceteam or even be part of forming one together.
Note that we are three individual persons that didn’t knew each other before we got betrayed and bestolen of our money from this criminal.

Which as of now not 1 dime got payed by you. think about it .
It also says in this contract ( reminding you that you wrote it ), that the money paid by you is concidered INVESTMENT !! it says absolutley no where in this contract that is is to be paid back ....which investments usualy are not anyways, its not a loan Gino !
Also it clearly says in there what this investment was/is for, to be equal partner...therefor the 50/50 share of earnings and losses !
So far, we lost a lot of money in our LLC in which case i am fronting you the loss at this time since the time you breached this contract !!
Oh well, name calling and lieing is a weak mans way.
Same as Petri..you all turn the story around after you guys seen that you can actually not do as you said and agreed.
You know, i am the only person in this that actually does what was agreed on and in Petri's case i used the money paid to cover my service provided since he basicly had 2 deals with me and paid upfront for the first but then said he wont pay me for the second. I mean come on guys ..grow up and put your money where your big mouth is and tell the whole story here!
I need to go now, getting ready to do some testing in a few hours for the race coming up this weekend. Its actually sad that both of you did not stick to your agreements or you could have fun aswell !
