30 votes to ban you??

unfortunately i think you are classed as a "pisstaker" as we all are at some point or other!!

so....... if you start a poll like this your gonna get slaughtered!!

I personally find jon/r-don quite entertaining AND my vote reflected that!

but......

still non the wiser why a poll to vote you in or out???????

Its just a bit of fun Gav. It gives the members some responsibility and they can play their part in the outcome.

So unless you guys save me, im outta here Friday.

Help me Lambsy, its the wulluff, save me.

That is of course if the inner sanctom dont ban me before friday!

PS. I never did anything in my life without fully accepting the consequences if things went tits up.

Well John, it would appear your days of doing it on this website are numbered!
The general consensus appears to be 'overwhelming' that you're unwanted here.

I suspect the other 29 voters so far, share with me the feeling that your opinion of yourself, your intellect, and your wit, are rather high of the mark.

As for not understanding, you're right.

Yes, my days here may indeed be numbered, but then aren't all our days that way?

I wonder who will keep your Ego in check when im gone? Manos, perhaps?

I have seen it many times, someone starts a web site, then they organise events, then they start selling things, etc. etc. etc.

As for my opinions of myself being high of the mark, you are of course free to make that assumption, but do i advertise myself on the web? Do i have a home web page with nothing of interest on it? I think not.

My opinion of myself is just that, my opinion, as to the standard of my opinion? Well i just base that on performance & facts. Nothing mystical there really.

I am no stranger to prejudice or jealousy just like any other man, however i recognise it when i see it, do you?

Rather interesting you should think Manos could replace you!...peas in a pod maybe

I don't think anyone suggested you possesed anything mystical meg! and as for jealousy....who's ego needs checking?

I think I've said enough on this subject, so I shall keep quiet on it now.

see ya johnny.

Sorry Jon but have to disagree with you on that statement.

1/ i think its a great website/forum and have become freinds with a number of members whom i probably wouldnt have met if not for boatmad..........

2/ the events have been a blast!

3/ selling things...........well, not everybody has the access or knowledge to get the things they may need for their boats.

4/ etc etc etc, everyone needs an etc!

Gav, I have never said anything derrogatory about the Website & Forum. It is indeed a great place for boating enthusiasts.

Gav, I have not said anything derrogatory about the Boatmad meets (how could i when i have never attended one?). Im sure that they have been great fun.

I agree that not everyone has the knowledge or knows where to obtain specialist performance parts.

What tends to cause problems on forums is when the controllers have a vested interest. Thats when things can turn sour. However, i wish them good luck.

Intresting thread, though of little value.
If you wanna be here stay if not dont.
I wont vote anybody off or on.
The thing with any forum. There will always be a
difference of opinion
Sporting exchanges
good source of information
bit of Bullsh*t
sometimes criticism, some personal some not. Depends how thick skinned you are
It's entertainment of sorts, open to all to view and post, freedom for all , with apart from a bit of "Carry on Humor" fairly clean which cannot be said of a lot of forums.

It's that damm phrase again
" ya pay ya money ya make the choice"

Prove wrong: Seahorse.org, run for 5 years by me, vested interests in selling seahorses to the public. Four thousand members, Two hundred thousand posts ( we trim historic posts of no generic benefit after 1 year. ) approximately 30 members online at any time, peaked at 70 members online and posting at one time.

works for me - I even get free trips to the USA twice a year to give speaches on seahorses...

WHAT VESTED INTEREST??????

like when they host the site, upgrading their equipment to keep it going at there own cost, never asking for anything from the 400 odd members, organising events that we are all invited to even if you dont bother to attend and being nothing but helpful.

so if you feel you need disagree with, as you call them "the controllers" then its up to you. You have your shitty poll to see if you are wanted or not because personally i never read the shit you post and its your loss if you get voted out so goodbye R-DON
