anyone intrested

calling all ski racers that have not skied competitively for 10 years how many of you would be interested in a "fun" event for 25 Min's plus a lap you could do it as a sponsored event if you want.
Anthony scaccia "anthony w167" and myself thought it would be nice to see all the old faces for an event such as this if there is enough interest we will see what we can do to arrange it for next season hopefully in Cardiff bay

You could count me in, I think that it has been at least 12 years now since I have put a race ski on. I have a boat, the main thing stopping me is all of the licencing rules, regs and expense.
I had thought about a possible challenge event (not a race) such as the Steepholm or Severn bridge clasic. If it is "not a race" then the rules would possibly be different.
Of course if it is "not a race" there would not be a winner as such however I am sure that boat numbers, a mass start and finish timing would be required for safety reasons.

Another thought would be a twin skier event, that way the oldies could tag up with an existing team?

I am fairly sure that some old and new names would be present if handled right.

hence thats why its an event not a race maybe join club for one day at a nominal price eg £20 per team how dose that sound?
do you need race licences for a club fun event
