Brixham Regional

Got this from Richard Kirk earlier

As you know we have reached the end of the scheduled races for this season. However we still have the possibility to have another region race in Brixham if there is enough support from you all. The situation with Brixham is that the Harbour Master is happy for us to race. The only set back is that the Doctor we used last time has not been able to get back to me with an available date. I have found another local paramedic service who maybe able to help. If you would still like to have another race please let me know.

I will also need the same support from those that helped last time with safety boats, judging, lap scoring and equipment etc. SO IF YOU ARE ALL UP FOR IT GET BACK TO ME and I will try my best to make it happen.

No confirmed dates as yet but I suspect it will be in early September with the same format as last time - Two 30min races open to all. I’ll send out another update as soon as I have had your responses.

Many thanks,

Richard.

The South West has organised a regional event on the 2nd October. If any of you are interested in participating please let me know by no later than the 23rd of September. There will be two 30 minute races open to all categories. However the format will be subject to review when a better idea of numbers and type of skiers is known.

Racers are asked to be at the slide way in Brixham at 10am. First race will be approximately 12pm
