Was down in Welsh Wales at the weekend with the ex Hotshot Team now (Cyclone Boat Company), £4.80 to get into Wales, although they do let you out for free.

The Boy (Burty) done good at the weekend, although the skier (Scott) went for a swim on the last lap.

Fecknd rained for each race, sun came out before and after each race.

You did well, not the best course to start off with, all those fkn green and yellow buoys about and that tight turn down by the start, that and the weather, not a bad day for the team

What happens when the ski-er falls. Is that the end of his race? Who picks him / her up. His own boat or a safety boat.?

When a skier falls the boat crew raise an orange flag, generally a safety boat with a waved orange flag should position them selves behind the skier providing protection from oncoming boats, the boat returns to the skier, if the skier still has the ski on and is ok to proceed the skier picks up the line and re joins the race.

For safety it is advisable to take in the ski line when the skier falls.

Exceptions are if a skier falls in a dangerous location or a place previously outlined in the pre race briefing they will be required to get back in the boat take in the ski line and re start from the centre of the course or a location advised at the briefing.

Bad Boy, did you lose your handles/ski line while you were swimming?

Thought I saw them get caught by another boat ?

Burty and Abbi, did you enjoy your first ski race ?

Yup really enjoyed it shame about the weather. hard work concentrating on all other boats/skiers too, towed people loads of times before but only when out with maybe 1 other boat so found that part quite hard. Also right leg was acheing loads from just keeping on throttle all the time.
