equipment needed

hi,
decided to finally give ski racing ago after years of lookin on, an watching an longin to do it
got up fot the first time today on a set of wraps, all beit on a slaom, but loved every second
ive already aquired myself a ski (hopefully) nd some wraps, so i only need a race suit and a helmet
but my crew dont have much

any ideas as to were we would be able to purchsae, life jackets and helmets and possibly and intercom, and advice as to anything else we might need would be greatly appreciated

i also no there is alot of controversy about legality of some helmets as well so any info on that would be most apreciate too

i gather the majority of people who are involved in racing are too, but the budget isnt big as it posibly could be, and any thing that anyone has fir sale, new or second hand would not be sneered at. lol

thanks in advance

chris

Hi,

A few contacts:

Team Gear (Life Jackets etc): Greg Bassam of GB Watersports on 01733 322 108 - Greg sometimes has some good bargains on new and old gear.

Race suit's & Helmets from either www.speedskier.net (UK), www.wing.com.au or www.wizardwetsuits.com.

There is quite a lot of gear around, so I am sure people will let you know

im not sure yet
i know that my crew are enthusiatic to try it, but i feel there commitment might not be as i want it
also as your probly aware i can onli ski open class with my boat.
burty has ordered me an intercom etc, so that if i decide not to ski behinde my boat i still have a great training tool
i heard that there might be a possibility that you might be gettin into the sport aswell, and might b looking for a skiier

Ideal, lets see how we get on then. All going well I should have the new engine on for the Torquay weekend so if your comming bring your ski and we'll have a play about over Torbay. Its a 2 way thing mate, its not just how I feel, you might not like sking behind me let alone me driving for you!!! Ask badboy!!!!
