I thought 300X's were simply not allowed in F2.

300x
Looks like they are allowed under EAME rules as no sanctions against boat 19. Also latest (April) EAME minutes refer to the latest new generation of 300 Mercury engines being acceptable, shame no one told us in GB might have been handy to know the goal posts had moved!!!World rules forbid this engine apparently for 2007 World event.
MY SUGGESTION TO SIMPLIFY THE RULES AS WE HAVE NO DYNO.
If its got one engine and over the F3 rule make it F2 simple eh! no restrictions on HP or CC. no testing required, no rules that you cannot or will not enforce. And no inboards.
Come on you lot who run the show give us some confidence that we are on a level par with our european competitors, when we go to compete, F2 rules are a mess and they know it.
Jacks taped up so they cannot be used, i asked why, because we are running to World rules, ah! so 300x banned then, no! because we dont use all the world rules. NO JUST THE ONES THAT F--K UP GB TEAMS.
RANT OVER

Then it will be a case of money talks, if you could run any size single engine over F3 and had the money and the skier then you would be quids in, winning all the races!
It should be F3 under 2 litre, F2 under 3 litre and rest go into F1
This is not a rant!!!
