Yep the sound quality is brilliant as long as your co driver keeps his visor shut!

Thanks mate.. So open cockpit, open face helmet 85mph and above you will get wind noise and if the co-driver is facing a V8 engine his helmet will pick up engine noise also??

Go full face ,shut the visor and you will hear each other as clear as a bell.the Nitro helmet with some cool tinted visors might be the way to go.

Stilo helmets work well with them, we put a piece of sponge over the mic seems to work well, all intercoms suffer a bit with a V8 on full throttle

Reason lm doing some research is l supply my own intercom helmets using the Starcom intercom units..I currently have 36 sets of my DTG intercom helmets in Ski Racing AU/NZ in the first 18 months of start up. I am very near finished developing a new helmet and want to know what is out there in intercoms to offer the best intercom helmets on the market for all boaters over the world.. I have spoke to Nathan via email, but very hard to communicate regular!! I want clear communication between 85-100mph which is a very common speed bracket down here. If l can deliver this then l will be able to provide an awsome product.
The downfall with the Starcom is the plugs, they are water proof but very fiddly and easy to bend pins (no good)
Stilo seem to be the only helmet com that works best at the moment..

Thanks Dave G
Not found a better simpler system yet but no need to look really !! Mine worked perfectly upto 104mph !!

I have not tried the open face version but I suspect still excellent.
