Mines not, Its a 28cc 2 stroke (half a moped).

By the way - I don't want to teach my grandmother how to suck eggs, but with so many new people using radio controlled models with motors and especially engines.
The one main safety point is that you turn off the transmitter before handling the boat.
Many fingures have gone for a burton when the transmitter falls over and the throttle lever slides up and spins the prop while someones holding it.

OK other users may be using your channel.

Point is though turn it all off as it can be bloody dangerous.

Another pet hate is people who call them remote control instead of radio controlled.

If someone else is using your channel then you shouldn't be running your boat full stop. I'd say its more the fact that as you switch the transmitter off with the reciever still on the servo's sometimes have a bit of a twitch.

Went out today for a play with the new toy.

Was all going swimmingly, until the RC gear got a bit wet, and it decided full lock to port was the order of the day!

Took half a bloody hour wrestling my way through the brambles & bushes to recover the bloody thing from the lakeside. Now have a dozen or so lovely cuts n scratches, torn clothes, grubby jacket and pissed off Wife.

Good this model boatin, innit.
