Is this whole colour thing to do with our favourite Fruit Pastel flavour?
I havn't seen a green hull yet, so I think I'm on to something.

I see Gav gets a mention on http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_6338131/tm.htm.

I see the guy who posted this has built a wooden Crackerbox which looks good fun to build.

The guy has posted the first run of his boat on youtube:

It really seems to go fast, proves its a good hull Gav.

He has knocked up a rather home made conopy to get the clearence, and I will need to do something similar but keep the rear air intakes and maybe cut into the deck body like him to give me more space to play with.
Hopefully it will look a bit like this:

I've been very tied up with my big boat this year as I took it out for a run in January and seem to have broke everything on it. However I have spent some time playing around with the canopy idea on the model.

This is the one I like the most, but what is the census of opinion?

Its a shame I have to go down this route, but too much engine would be sticking out otherwise.

I also have had to use a ply spacer between hull and deck to clear more engine bits. The good thing is that I can use a screw type conector on the underside into the wood so I will be able to seperate top from bottom for maintenance. The sides will be rubbed down and shaped with a black resin finish.
