Is that the boat OTT or was OTT a different 33 cougar

wonder why in the late 80's early 90's the 33 was not favoured more for racing, and how would the hull compare to the new Phantom 32 hull in the rough stuff

any views

How about a 46' aluminium hulled un-rigged Cougar for endurance racing next year £9K+ and it's yours and if it all goes tit's up you can sell it for baked bean cans
MUST SELL REPO

Might be the old OTT but I'm not sure. The only other one I've ever seen was the yellow one here - used to belong to a guy whose name I forget, who raced for a short time was John Davey in Macavity.

hopefully not moving the thread away to far from pics of 46' versions

but going back to Ott somehow when I watched it race it never seemed to get going very well maybe those small Cougar hulls need lots of power to get them up to speed or ott had small engines

Wow. That's one helluva boat!! One of these days I'll be rich enough to buy something like that!

Well, knowing my luck I'll buy another lumbering hunk of crap and have to rebuild it, but the thought is nice!
