Hi all, can anyone tell me the weight of an Avenger 16, basic boat without engine etc ?

From the Avenger 16 Specification sheet.

Basic wt,excluding motor.

Approx 340kg (750lb) Outboard,386kg (850lb) Inboard.

thanks for the info, can you pm me the spec sheet, please; my mate has one its been in the family from late 70s/early80s & he is currently setting it up with a 1979 Merc 140 "tower of power"

Don`t hold your breath,it`s not details of the hull layup,just a single page sales blurb.

Great boats the Avenger, I had a 16ft with a Mercruiser 165hp inboard that ran really well.
I raced a 19ft with a 200v6 Merc and I am currently refitting an Avenger 21 with a Volvo 300 V8.

Good luck with the build, just watch out for a few handling quirks with the power of tower on!
