Avenger 19

There is an Avenger 19 for sale on e bay its got a race number 14 and is ochre(orange) in colour.
Does anyone know anything about its racing history or ownership ?
There is a knackered 125 straight six with it too !
That would make a nice winter project for me.

This one?

I know a guy who'd be able to collect it, sort the motor and do a fantastic job of the rigging!

Great hull the Avenger, you might remember Quicksilver the 19 that I raced back in the 80's with a Merc 200v6.
Great fun cornering almost upside down until it spits you out.
I am at present almost finished an Avenger 21 with a Volvo 300hp V8, that should be fun.
Good luck with the project if it goes ahead.

It was pointed out to me that the transom has been cut right down, that'd need building back up.

Yes -I've got a 21foot tremlett
just needs cabin sole and windscreen surround need to finish
It was called Hirondelle which is French for Swallow
I thought after the refit I could call it Sox & Swallows !
That Avenger has had a hole gound out of the engine well
so that the engine can tilt up-smooth
