Maltese 40' Cig?

Not sure where I found these. I know they were taken in Malta. Boat appears to be a 40' cigarette but some photo titles suggest a Squadron? My money is on a 40' ciggie.

Talking

I saw that boat about 6 years ago when I went out to Malta to try and get a new deck made from ch****on for my 2nd P25- prior to my last hull. Pretty sure it's an old cigarette, didn't go that well though with those 250 saltwaters.

The rear step looks too short to be a 40'. 39' perhaps?
Years ago, I heard that Mike Doxford's 40' ended up out there. I don't know how true that is.

Definately not Doxford's Cig 40'... Doxford's hull did not have the midline ridge, his 40' was an early Cig, plus the bow light was slightly further back, this boat in Malta looks barely a 35' at max..
