Miss Embassy

After talking to Ken Raybould last week and remarking on the fact that Uno Embassy/Thunderbird had joined ABO /Double 2 Shirts back on the water I said we only needed the Miss Embassy Gas Turbine boat to be found/released from its Gibraltan cave for three of the 4 Planatecs over which he had control in setting up and building to be racing again...(the 4th hull became TP's BREATHLESS rebuilt after delamination)...When he casually remarked that MISS EMBASSY was very different to the other 3 in being very much the stronger hull with totally different lamination design in view of the power installation.
Now if this is the case then someone needs to start serious investigations into whether she is still impounded in the cave as per last photographs as she would make the ideal basis for a Round Britain Racer, we saw how well Rob and Uno Embassy performed in the CTC, the stronger MISS E hull with modern engines could sweep the board and could become one of DON SHEAD's most successful designs.
Let the hunt begin....
PS we have received news that BLUE MOPPIE will be restored in 2011.

Now Thunderbolt is done and dusted, this could be the boat to totally
bankrupt you.

Yes it was a different lay up for slightly extra speed, but as Kenny knows,it had to be hacked about to get it running right (chine mod),and wts added and moved around, all to no avail,so don`t put it in the D2S class.D2S was a cut down Miss Embassy, and Miss Embassy has been basterdized so much,it would be a nightmare bringing it back to the original.
Delta 28 VC could have a go at it as a precurser to the green monster, for that sort of challenge is just what he needs as a warm up job.No need even to make a part deck, but then again new engine hatches might stop him in his tracks.

Ummmmm!
