So, I take my hat of to both Graham & Jon for making all of this possible, If it wasn't for both of you we wouldn't have all these great old films to browse over and a great new race to look forward to. Hope that puts this thread into some sort of perspective.
ML.
Here ! Here ! Mike lets just hope that perspective is seen by both, it would be a sad day to see the loss of this site or the media footage and gallery, nothing is ever insurmountable.

I think it's fair to say we're finished here.

As far as I'm concerned, the subject is now closed....unless you'd like to continue with some more 'spume', in which case, feel free.

OK, the relationship tween Graham and I has clearly broken down, as they say in divorce speak, irreparably.

I feel sure someone will be only too glad to pick up the job of managing/hosting this stuff and it would clearly be a crying shame if it didn't continue to be available to those who are interested on the net.

Until such time as Graham splices a deal together with someone who is able to live up to his expectations, I'll gladly re-enable his media (its still all there, just hidden) if he's happy for that. Once a new site is under way and he's happy, it can just switch over, this way, no one will be robbed of his superb collection, however temporary that might be.

JF

PS. Graham, I'll need your nod before doing it. (and please try to spare me any sniping remarks)

Thank you both for having reached a compromise and allowing us to continue to enjoy the wealth of historic material available.
