Thumbs up pictures of all winners of C-T-C

hi to all,
been looking as a guest for some time, only just submitted details.
what i am after is
very good pictures of all the past winners of the C-T-C- from 1961 onwards, preferably on the water, in original race colours and numbers of the year they won, and most of all going at full speed through the water
the reason i am looking for these items is to compile a photographic album of all past winners, and then to give the book to a person/family who instigated the c-t-c just before the 50th anniversary
so please help if you can
all photo's will be gratefully recieved, and the best will be included in album
will put personal email in profile

many thanks

If you intend printing these pics, I think a quick, polite request to Graham, who owns that gallery, and donated it to Boatmad for viewing, would be much appreciated and well received.

He is member 'Flying Fish' on this forum.

I'm sure you'll agree the collection is outstanding.

winners

Thats strange I thought that standing on the No1 spot on the podium as me and Roger Fletcher did in 1998 and 1999 ment that we had won it !!? Dont think we made to many friends winning in a RIB that had radar and anti-fouling lived in the water and was driven there in the morning went down very well!

You can do that at all of those social functions you will be attending - whilst imparting your greater historical knowledge on to your fellow PB groupies.

You should be able to click on the thumbnail, and get a 1000 pixel wide image on screen, then right click on it & save that.

However, assuming you now have Grahams blessing to use the pics, you'd be better off with the full versions for printing (this varies from pic to pic, but is usually quite a bit bigger than 1000). If you give me a list of the actual pics you've chosen, I'll send you a disk with those as full size files on it.

It must be with GS's consent though.

A4 Pics

OK,all this is possible, but have you considered what you are trying to do.

If you ever need the originals then that means putting 50 or so pics on a disc, they would take ages to send by `e` mail.So that`s time to sort which if you went to Beken he would charge you £50/pic plus probably £30/hr to sort.A nice little £2600 invoice.
To produce a booklet on this like all the historical info collected ,is a labour of love, and in your position I think I would aim at no bigger than 2 pics/page assuming there is a short write up on the winners as well,or is this just an A4 picture booklet?
Copying pics off the internet at that size, there ain`t many that will let you do it for a start,so maybe you temper your ambitions a bit if you want to do it for nothing.

You're doing something wrong.
I can view as full (1000 pixel) and save from screen at that size.

is this happening for all the images you've looked at, or just 1 / the first you've tried?

Another thought

Are you just right clicking and `save as`,cause if you are,no wonder your struggling to get a decent image.
