Looks good, I like the black and white paint job! What age is she? Engines and drives?

Some of the photos don't work for me on the website either?

The Dirty Pearl is a 1970 36 Wide Body Cigarette. The beam is 9' 6in. She is running a pair of Supercharged 900's with a set of #4's on boxes. We run the P-4 bracket in OPA. We have a max speed of 85mph in 4 class. The old Pearl is a real wave crusher. She still loves the rough stuff!

When you say supercharged 900's is that 900hp per side?

We approach things in a different way here favouring economy and much smaller engines - we get 70mph from 520hp total admittedly in a new stepped hull boat.

Yes, 900 a side. It takes a lot of power to move this old school beast.

Twin 900s in a 36 with #4s will be good for 100mph. OK close to it. Could be a bit scary though. Lots of area.

Mike, she has been radared at 103.00mph. We have set up the Pearl for bracket style racing. Strong off the line power and fast out of the turns. The old girl surpriess a lot of people with her quickness.

Very nice! How does she feel at that speed? I think Dry sump #6s would be awesome on an old 36.

It's feels very fast, but feels good. We are just little guys over hear and we don't have the means to try #6's. We are only able to do a few races a year.
