Tim tells me that he did, as I thought, buy the boat from the late Merick Lewis, & he ran it in some Bahamas races, before shipping it back to the UK.

This boat is currently on e-bay, i came across it only a couple of days ago, it has no top deck, just a hull, the pics suggest that it is th eactual boat in question.

From looking at the e-bay pictures, I think the deck IS still on the hull, it has, it seems, been cut so that the helm position is just a big hole.
The cleats & vents are still visable, so foredeck & engine hatches too are there.
A gem that ought to be saved.

If only i had finally packed up work i could of got stuck in to that.i bet we close after xmas and i will be at a loss for something to do.Did spend a long time searching for engines for it,oh well there will be another i expect.
