Does anyone know anything or have any pictures of a 28ft CUV that was called we think A BLAST FROM THE PAST

no thats not it,that boat is sat at drivers now all red,ive seen the cuv in the gallery on here,it was at the class 2 worlds at bournemouth many moons ago,ile try and find a pic

From my sketchy memory, Blast From The Past was originally a Don Shead designed cabin-tender for a large Super-Yacht in the Med' .
The guys who restored & raced it back some years ago are from Silverlake, who are scrap metal merchants, & I have in my mind that the all-ally boat may have found its way to them originally for scrap. They realised its history & restored & raced it !
It would be good to see it out again, - I don't think its the same boat as shown in "Smania" livery off Bournemouth, on this thread though.

I saw that boat at Tony Hamilton's yard in Cowes a few years back - it looked in a similar state then - I guess no-one has been brave enough to re-engine it then?
