Thumbs up About time: my new boat:)

It is a Gilbert 21-22, 2004 model, modified from the old design with, balance step, pad and setback step. The original design was not so easy driven, needed a lot of power to get out of the water and laid very low in the water. Only made 2 of it so far.
Previous owner cared for it well and did not use it all that much so it is like out of the box Heres a clip of the other boat built, filmed from mine: Both had Yam 225s and saw over 70 knots so that is tempting, but will try it with my old engine first, Merc 90hp 3syl 2 stroke. Will call the marina that has taken care of it this winter and hear how much they will charge for takin som extra hp out it

Got the lift on yesterday, rubbed, polished and waxed it, mounted different things and some intstruments. Somethings remains; stereo needs to be fitted, the petrol tank, Found out that it has no signalgiver in it so have to mount that aswell. And of course the engine!

Will use a PowerTech 21p prop which has loads of grip and lift, used it on my Dateline Bikini. Any thoughts/experiences?

Comments, ideas etc very much welcome!
