The new 3C raceboat I'm designing at the moment has something quite different - but not going to be shown until the first boat is built. This will actually be a race RIB with fairly minimal tubes and will race in the French championships, but also measures for 3C and will hopefully compete in the 3C Worlds in Guernsey 2008. Hopefully some non-RIB versions of the design will also be built.
How is this comming along?
Could it be used in 3B (EPA)?

Hi Tristan
Round Britain is still possible - but not looking too good!

Originally I had a good sponsor all lined up - but delays in confirmation of the race, lack of a headline event sponsor and no details on press coverage all led to problems and they did not take up their option.

In turn I held off ordering a Technohull 999 and now I'm too late to get one in tiem for the race due to their order book. However I do have another company that I design for who are very keen to build a new boat for me to race. Still just about possible - but I still need some sponsorship to come through to make it all happen!

Hopefully catch up with you soon and will let you know what comes about.
