Advice wanted please . Ring 16 or ring 21

Hi guys I've got a ring 16 / marina 16 which is about 3yrs old never been fitted out properly or finished . The hull and top side is in great condition interior is just 2 car bucket seats , rear seat and trim never fitted/finished and no gauges fitted. It's got a evinrude 70hp on the back. Now the question is do I finish this boat off by getting the interior finished properly with new seats etc ,buy a bigger engine and fit gauges etc or do I go and buy a bigger ring 21 which is already finished. I reckon either way it will cost about the same . I think it would be good to have a boat that I have made my own ie interior colour design and I work as a composite technician in f1 so was going to add loads of carbon etc or will I be better off with a bigger faster boat like a ring 21 which is already finished but being a lot older . Hope this makes sense thanks mark

I started at a ring 16 with a 100 merc which was a good for learning about boats and not too expensive then moved to phantom 20 then onto phantom 23, spending more money on the way . But it is up to you to decide .

if the 16 is only 3 years it would be worth trimming as rear and side trims are not to bad on the pocket the fwd seats can be so if the one you have are in good order keep them a well trimmed boat is much easyer to sell or px than a bad one
