Airdock any good?

Just curious if anyone has any experience with the aridocks? I like the benefits but have never seen any.

Will make my life easier, I hate bottom painting, scrubbing the hull, fitting anodes and not being able to flush the drive. was looking at airdock.com's version.

We've got a few types over here, never seen one of these though! I can say that the advantages of keeping your boat on one are huge, and i think these ave got huge potential. The only prohibative factor with the other ones i've seen is the cost, what are these ones like??
If i can find one that's at the right price i was looking into becoming a dealer for them in the UK...

Depends how you work out cost, corrosion, antifoul paint, time cleaning, extra fuel from weed build up and antifouling drag, losing top speed, having paint all over your shiney drive, whats that worth?

Keep mine on a Boatfloat, so far the best way I have found to keep a boat. I gess airdock will be as good, but not for a 40 foot boat.

You try convincing my girlfriend i should be working on the cat again today!

There's a load of jetskis on the modular ones on the first pontoon on the north beach side and there's a jet boat at the very end of the 3rd or 4th pontoon up on the same side that's on a lift the same as the one under the sunseeker.

To be honest the best system i could see is the one under the jetskis, they do a brilliant system for monohulls up to 30ft and the best thing is it's modular so you don't have to buy a whole new one when you buy a new boat

Oh, and there's no pumps or anything involved, it just sits tere so will also be the lowest maintenance.

Thats the same kinda stuff, the one i saw was american and black instead of grey, but other than that the same! The other one also had a clever winch system in a 'v' shape tat you can use to launch or retrieve the boat... I'd imagine you'd need this for anything running a high prop height.
