Amazing Hardware @ This Event!!!

My 1st year at the 1000 Islands Poker Run.

It felt like I was in another country!!! Oh yeah....I was..

I finally found a place to store 94Mbits of photos and be able to share all the pics with all of you.
Check them out!!! 1000 Island Poker Run Pics 2004

It was a great time!

The water was so clear I wanted to drink it.

The scenery? You will see all that in the pics....Enjoy!

Wow!!!

Some of the graphics are amazing and 'Superman' is just stunning.

Sharkey, any chance you could give a few details about the event (for the ignoramuses like me!). Is there a concourse event as well as the poker run? Did you compete? If so, which is your boat?

I'm thinking of looking into a Checkmate when we move back to the States next year.

What's it like when the water gets a bit lumpy?

Thanks!

The best I have seen so far has been 82mph on speedo.

I have the engines on hydraulic jack plates and 8" set backs. At the lowest position it is just not low enough when I get it in the rough.
The boat does handle it well, I just got to lower the engines one day so I can take full advantage of the jack plates. In 4 to 5 footers the props just begin to break loose way too much...
