Amsterdammed

Anyone remember this film? Directed by Dick Maas.

Probably the best boat chase sequence EVER!!! Through the canals James Bond style - really long chase from what I can remember - good film too - think the boats were Shakespears and other British 70s type speedboats.

Would love to see some piccies or even find the film again.

Here is a review - it may jog some memories

There's a psychopathic skindiver stalking the canals of Amsterdam. Inspector Eric Visser is assigned to the case. As the killings continue the stunts become more daring. Maas adds to the excitement with some prowling in the sewers; a nasty trick with a speargun; a car chase, a powerboat chase and brooding music reminiscent of Jaws 'Amsterdammed is a fast, gory, immensely entertaining Dutch thriller that cheekily crosses Jaws with Dirty Harry.' - Philip French, The Observer 'Your won't rest until you know whodunnit.' - Derek Malcolm, The Guardian

Alister McLean -- Puppet on a Chain I think was better ,
one of if not the best boat sequences filmed.
I use to have the M&BY write up on it years ago wrote off quite a few boats as I recall
